Another Enid House
About 29 years ago, a woman lived in a house here in Enid with her baby and her St. Bernard. Strange things would happen at this house such as the cupboard doors and drawers would open and close and the lights would go on and off randomly. Things would be moved around, etc. One night the woman was asleep on her bed and she was awakened to find herself half way off of the bed as if she had been pulled off. All the lights were on, the shades were up, the cupboard doors and drawers were all hanging open and the St. Bernard was trembling underneath the dining room table. She had a very bad feeling as if something evil was lurking there. She got her baby out of its crib and they left the house. She proceeded to move out the next day.
About 20 years later she was working at the local employment agency and there was a man at her desk. She was taking his information and she noticed that he had the address of the house she had lived in and had that strange experience. She mentioned that she had lived there twenty years earlier. He said, "Did anything weird ever happen to you when you lived there?" And they began exchanging stories about the house. He had been having the same strange things going on there. That was pretty weird!
So a few more years later, I was telling this story to my friend and when I told the address, he got really freaked out. I asked him why and he told me that when he worked for a local pharmacy he used to deliver medicine to an old lady that lived there. The kicker is this - they thought the woman was crazy because she was always ranting that the devil lived in her house.
