Enid Residence #2

This evening we conducted a preliminary investigation at an Enid residence on West Broadway.  The house was bought in September and the family has since moved out for reasons not related to the "activity".  The same family owned the house for many years and I have never known of any activity but I am going to talk to the previous owners to find out any information they might have.

The house did not seem to be very active to me upon arrival.  There was one particular room that they family reported as causing uneasy feelings.  We took pictures and walked through the entire house and ended up in this particular room with the dowsing rods.  This was the first time any of us had used dowsing rods on an investigation.  We used basic "L" shaped rods and placed the handles in tubes that we held in our hands so that the rods could move independently of our hands.  We started out by asking for the rods to be moved to the left or right while I was holding them and they did as requested.  The feeling you get when this happens is very strange - you are not actually touching the rods so you can't control where they go and when they move, you can actually feel what I can only compare to a magnetic force, it feels like a big magnet pulling them.

So we went into the room and we instructed that "yes" was right and "no" was left.  Amy had the rods and we began asking whether there was someone there, etc. and the rods moved to the right, indicating yes.  We asked several questions and were getting very definite answers and at one point asked if it wanted us to leave and it said no and we asked if it was having fun and it said yes. We asked if it was a child, it said no. We asked if it was between 20 and 30 and it said yes and we asked if it was a male and it said no. So then we asked if it was a female and it said yes. So then we asked if she died in this house and she said no. We asked if she lived in the house and she said yes. We asked if it was a long time ago and she said yes. We asked if she died of natural causes and she said no.  We asked if she was murdered and she said yes. SO - I'll be doing some historical research to see who has lived in that house and find out what happened to anyone that as lived there.  We then began asking "control" questions - questions that we all knew the answers to, such as, "Is this February?" "Is this March?" "Is this 2004?", etc. to see what would happen and every time, a correct answer was given.

At one point Amy turned the rods over to Crisi and Crisi was not getting any action from the rods.  They were moving but it was rather haphazardly and at one point she was trying to get the lined up and they just wouldn't do it.  Then all of the sudden, she dropped them and ran off yelling that something had pushed her hand.  Later, upon analyzation of the video, you can see her eyes and face very focused on trying to get the rods to straighten out and then you see her right hand physically move against her will. It is at that point where she drops the rods.  Susie and Amy both took pictures right after that and they both got pictures with very prevalent orbs in them.  I almost always discount orbs as dust, but considering they both got them at that point in time, I will have to consider them at least as unusual. We stopped for a while to make sure she was alright and regroup and Amy went back to the rods and asked if they meant to scare Crisi and they said no.  She asked if she was aware that she did scare her and she said yes.  Amy then asked if she was sorry and she said yes.  We thanked "her" for allowing us to visit with her and asked her to stay there as we were going to go home.

Right now we cannot validate any of these answers until we do the historical research.  Normally I like to know the history before hand, but in this case, I am glad we didn't so there was no way to manipulate the answers.  We will have pictures and hopefully the video up of this soon.  It turns out that this house has changed hands over 20 times.  Without any way to validate the history of the home, we cannot say whether the data we collected there is valid or not.  My parents lived next door to this house for many years and when my sister was a little girl, she used to spend the night with the granddaughter of the former owners at that house.  When I told her we were investigating this location and what happened there, she asked me if it was the upstairs back bedroom with the strange closet - which it was.  I asked her why and she told me that they were always frightened of that room and were not allowed to go in there as children.  I don't know any more than that, but that is at least three people that don't know each other that claim there is something in that particular room.
