USS CONSTELLATION

Myself and Tonya from GHOULI were recently lucky enough to be chosen to conduct an investigation on the USS Constellation in Baltimore, Maryland for The Learning Channel.

We arrived at the ship on Saturday afternoon of Memorial Day Weekend 2003.  It was raining and there were a lot of people around outside the ship, both of which caused a lot of contamination.  We were also being followed by a camera and sound crew and had a rather uninterested tour guide.  So the odds were against us from the beginning.

We did our best to do an EVP investigation, but as far as we could both tell, there was just too much contamination and neither of us collected any good EVP.  We did get a couple of questionable pictures.  Two were just your everyday-probably-nothing orbs, but one in particular had three in it, and one looked to be either in motion or maybe two overlapping.  We took about 300 pictures and only three had orbs, as there was a lot of dampness which would definitely keep the dust down.  The surfaces were almost entirely wood so there was not a lot of metal either.  I have posted the best one below.

The ship has a lot of history and there are several stories of hauntings there, but the ship's crew denied it quite vehemently.  We asked about different ones and were told it was simply not true.  We also asked how many people died on board the ship, they said NONE.  The ship has a history spanning 200 some years - I find it hard to believe that no one even died of pneumonia or scurvy.  What was even more interesting is that we saw a sign advertising a Haunted Harbor tour and it started at the ship.

So, all in all, it was an uneventful investigation for us and therefore I will just say it was inconclusive as to whether it is haunted or not.  It is a beautiful ship in the middle of a beautiful city, however, so if you ever get the chance to go see it, you will be glad.  But don't go to ROCKY RUN in Colombia - THAT WAS THE RUDEST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!!

That's hot pink hair with beads to match and the dude is like 65.

And here is one of our TOURIST pics...

And a BIG THANK YOU TO THE LEARNING CHANNEL FOR ALLOWING US TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROJECT!!!
